Lisa Lee Botanical Fine Art

Painted with
intention & silence

Lisa Lee is a contemporary botanical painter based in Los Angeles, California. With a creative background spanning more than 30 years in surface and textile design, she brings a deep understanding of color, composition, and pattern to her fine art practice. She studied at Otis College of Art and Design, where she further developed her passion for painting and observation.

Inspired by the beauty and complexity of flowers, Lisa creates detailed oil and acrylic paintings that celebrate the interplay of light, color, and form. Time spent in botanical gardens has become an important part of her creative process, offering moments to slow down, connect with nature, and share meaningful experiences with family. Many of her paintings begin with flowers encountered during those visits.

Working with careful observation and subtle transitions in color and value, Lisa builds each bloom one petal at a time. Drawn to the intricate structure of flowers, she enjoys watching each painting gradually unfold until it takes on depth, dimension, and life. Through her original paintings and fine art prints, she hopes to share the sense of wonder she finds in the natural world.
